IGS Expands into the APAC region

IGS GeboJagema is proud to announce the expansion of its global activities into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, marking an important milestone in the company’s international growth strategy. Building on its strong foundation in Europe and North America, this step reflects the increasing demand for high-precision tooling and manufacturing solutions within the rapidly growing medical and high-tech industries across Asia.

To support this expansion and strengthen its local presence, IGS has appointed Chris Wong as Sales Director APAC. With extensive experience in international sales and a strong understanding of the APAC market, Chris Wong will play a key role in developing regional partnerships, supporting customers, and further expanding IGS’s footprint in the region. His appointment underlines IGS’s long-term commitment to being a reliable and locally engaged partner for customers and partners throughout Asia.

The APAC region is home to some of the world’s fastest-growing medical device and pharmaceutical markets. By becoming actively present in this region, IGS aims to be closer to its customers, respond more effectively to local market needs, and foster long-term collaborations. Customers in APAC can expect the same high standards in quality, precision, and engineering expertise that have defined IGS globally for decades.

As a first concrete step in its APAC expansion, IGS will participate in Medtec China, one of the leading medical technology exhibitions in Asia. The event will take place from 1 to 3 September in Shanghai, China. During Medtec China, IGS will present its capabilities in high-precision tooling and manufacturing solutions for the medical industry, while engaging with customers, partners, and industry experts from across the region.

With dedicated leadership in place and its first APAC exhibition already scheduled, IGS takes a confident step toward becoming a truly global partner for medical and high-tech manufacturers worldwide. The expansion into APAC represents the beginning of a broader regional strategy, with further initiatives planned as IGS continues to invest in sustainable growth, innovation, and international collaboration.
